There seems to be an issue with a raft of different Samsung computer products being unable to install Win 10 TP. The issue is exactly the same for all being locked out after 3 seconds at the logo screen trying to install with either USB or DVD installer. And then if the 'setup.exe' file is opened from within sources folder the process runs through the first stages and after the 'copying files' process it does a restart and arrives at the very same logo screen and again it stops right there with no circle of spinning dots ever appearing, even after waiting 8 hours on one attempt by me. All machines meet the system requirements which is easily confirmed by installing 8.1. If your machine can run 8.1 then it has the ability to run Win 10 TP. I believe this has to be BIOS by process of elimination having tried to install on an effectively brand new machine with nothing on it by using a new SSD ( and yes I've tried everything bar programming the source code directly to install this on my machine happily purring away using 8.1) If you've had this issue with your Samsung computer product please list the full model number and importantly the BIOS manufacturer, version and date which can be found by entering msinfo32.exe into a 'Run' window command to bring up 'System Information' window.
After installation of the drivers (either from Windows Update or Nvidia site) the. I've got a Samsung R510 Donato Laptop with a Geforce 9200M GS Graphics card. Network Adapter Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter. I have EXACTLY the same symptoms with the later drivers in Vista.
Listed about half way down the summary page that opens in the right hand pane should be BIOS version/date I've managed to get the attention of hopefully the right people at Samsung to check out what is conflicting with Win 10 installation process and I figure if we can discover a common denominator in the BIOS installed it may help to work out the solution. Which of course will be something really simple. It always is in logic. So far I've found the following with this installation error: RV 511 & 411 using Phoenix tech BIOS 07PA.M07 RC 520 N900X3A ultrabook. If you have a Samsung which you've managed to install Win 10 TP please let me know that also with same details cheers, Nick. I've found this thread to be very useful whilst I've been trying to upgrade to Windows 10 so I thought I'd share my (slightly positive) experience with everyone. I have a Samsung RV711 which was running Windows 8.1.

Like everyone else, I spent hours trying to install Windows 10. Using the Get Windows app I got a 80070714 error. I uninstalled antivirus and Chrome and made more space but nothing helped. I then tried the DVD and USB install methods with no luck.
I even used the Media Creation Tool to try an upgrade and that just gave me a set of different problems! Finally I went back to the Get WIndows app and managed a partial install, maybe because I had I had freed more space. But is still wouldn't boot, getting stuck on the initial blue logo at the start. After reading this thread I thought I'd go all out and try to install without the WLAN card connected.
I followed and finally completed the install. My problems weren't over unfortunately as a reboot caused the same stuck blue logo again. I was just about to order a new WLAN card when I looked at and so I tried a few reboots and successfully booted into Windows 10. What's more the Broadcom WLAN card worked and I had Internet access. (I'm currently writing this on my Samsung Windows 10 laptop!) So having the laptop 'fixed' for 24 hours, I've found that the reboot is a bit temperamental. It doesn't always work and I have to keep trying to reboot to get it to work.
I'm waiting to see if Microsoft (or Samsung!!) comes up with a fix, or I might go and buy a new WLAN card. They are not expensive.
I hope this helps someone to get Windows 10 installed in their Samsung laptop. And thanks to everyone who contributed before me and helped me get up and running - sort of!
