What is this? Wilderness Warbands are a Distraction&Diversion in RuneScape. Approximately every 7 hours a warband wave will start and warband camps will appear in one of three random locations in the wilderness on every RuneScape world. Players must fight off each other and the warband camp NPC's to loot supplies from the camp. The supplies can then be exchanged for large amounts herblore, farming, construction, mining or smithing experience. At level 90 you will get more than 100k experience for doing one warband event and you can do up to 3 events per day. You can also receive experience in the summoning, prayer and slayer skills by interacting with the summoning beam and fighting off the warband general.
Figure out how much experience you'll get with our. Finishing a warband requires working together, and this website is a place where you can find an FC (friendschat) to do your warband(s) in. We are the largest group of friends chats who all work together to divide and conquer the worlds. To learn about joining one of our FC's.
Probably anything in the Module Hall of Fame and any mods that actually have a new map. My small recommendations here are mods that completely have a new map and feel different:.
Gekokujo Damiyo Edition - New map, castles/sieges, animations. Only bad thing is that most faction units are copy and paste. Play in Medieval Japan and become Shogun!
(Also, hot asian ladies, well Warband hot at least) This is my favorite Warband mod only because the combat feels so fucking good, the music perfection and the weebness in me. (Not really but you are going to yell BANZAI!!!
One way or another). 1257 AD or Medieval Conquest - Basically it's pretty much the fucking largest map I have seen in Warband, it's all of Europe and then some. Has great tournament system, new recruitment, crusaders, pope. It might actually be too big for some people with some empty lands or performance affecting on lower-end PCs but man do other maps feel so small compared to this. Also probably the one of the most developed mod and the most developed actual European Medieval Warfare mod. I prefer this over most Warband mods because well, I prefer alternative history in real history rather than low-fantasy that is trying to be based on historical factors anyways. Medieval Conquest is the newer version with some OSP/Floris features but it's a bit disputed on who owns what.

It's more buggier but playing Medieval Conquest and the new features feels better to me than 1257AD. L'Aigle - I actually wouldn't put this as a must play before Bannerlord but basically it is the best looking Warband mod that I have yet seen, I'm not exaggerating. It's set in the Napoleonic War with a map of Europe (less than 1257 AD), however I would say it's a bit empty and I think the mod author gives way too much time during updates or has abandoned it. However it's worth playing the graphics and Napoleonic War alone if you prefer it.
Nova Aetas - Technially uses vanilla map but updates it and slightly expands. It's less of a warband game and turns Warband into guild simulator. Basically, turns Warband into more of a RPG with wood cutting and building new stuff. It is a bit buggy and some aspects are tedious but it brings so much that you have to 'try' it out. 1860s Old America - A really fun new way to experience Warband, instead of Melee Combat, most people have guns and you can join the US Civil War with factions in Mexico, Confederates or Union. It's seriously fucking fun using powdered weapons and dynamite while on horseback. This is actually the most fun Warband mod for me.
It's probably the closest to an actual Western RPG game on PC because there's no RED DEAD REDEMPTION. So come on here and try it out. The music might be hit or miss because it's well, old timey folk singing music. But hey who doesn't like To arms in Dixie?, well. Aside from Union's sympathizers and Black people and everyone else that doesn't like country music. Viking Conquest - You might have played this and it's technically a DLC but for those who haven't, it pretty much overhauls Warband with a new map and game mechanic big time. There are more mods but this are the most notable and impressive with the least amount of emptiness or bugs that come to mind.
Other suggestions could of included - Empire III/IV and others but they are too buggy at this time. Didn't try to include mods that technically used the vanilla map.
You seem to like historical settings, like me. Try Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth I never really had an interest in this historic setting, but it's quite interesting. Several large native SE Asian kingdoms stuck between several foreign kingdoms, including a small European colony. Lots of unique 'hero' bandit armies roam the map and provide a nice early game challenge.

Lots of variety to the map, which is huge, but there's no blank areas like in other mods with big maps. There's 12 factions, each with its own unique troop tree based on historic culture. There's an alliance and trade agreement system in place (from Diplomacy?) and other things on top that make it feel different, kind of like what 1257 did with all of the features in that mod. There's some cool mechanics included, like explosive arrows and hand cannons that do area damage. There's also war elephants, but they're not as impressive as you'd think, though seeing them running around in the battle is cool.
Absolutely great mod that is strangely not that popular. I only found it a few months ago, and it has been out for 3 years now.
Sadly, development has stopped. There's no game breaking bugs and it's quite polished, but there are things I'd personally adjust/develop a bit more. 1429: la Guerre de Cent Ans - Steel Edition This mod has some deep and amazing quests. Like a mix between Warband and The Witcher. It has custom animations, and every city is unique. You can even visit landmarks.
You can play as a French rebel, a mercenary in a band, discover the secrets of the templars. The amount of content in this mod is incredible.
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned it before. (Maybe because it is a French mod).
There is also an English translation (which doesn't translate everything but it is playable enough).
